The Development of the Indonesian Baro

Judi Tembak is one of the founding members of the Indonesian Beyggen Indonesia. Known as a member of the Beyggen family, she has gone on to write "Barbarossa" which explores the origins of Indonesian "baro". This book has generated controversy in some quarters due to its view on the way in which Indonesian Baro first developed. The controversies have led to the author in her response to this controversy by claiming that the questions have been misdirected and her book provides a balanced view of the issue.

It is interesting to note that the way in which Judi Tembak views the introduction of the Indonesian currency at the time of its introduction differs from the present view of her. While Judi Tembak views this as an attempt to control and regulate prices, it has become common practice in recent years in some developed countries where real-estate and offshore gambling industries are concerned.

According to Judi Tembak, the introduction of the Indonesian currency at that time was to be used to pay for Baro; however in present times this has become common practice in Singapore where there is offshore gambling industry. She argues that the introduction of currency into Indonesian society was motivated by the need to control the Baro. However when this currency came into existence, judi tembak ikan uang asli  it was intended to help people make their living, but over time it has come to be seen as an intermediary currency between investors. It became popular with Indonesians who owned these currencies and later on with people from abroad.

In her book Judi Tembak also highlights the role played by western politics in the development of the currency and claims that Indonesian politics had a lot to do with this. While this is quite true, she makes it clear that she does not believe that Indonesian politics should be taken into account. There is no doubt that Indonesian politics has contributed to the currency, especially when it comes to understanding the Baro value which Judi Tembak states to be the most important feature of the currency.

However, the Bank of Indonesia has a far more powerful role in the history of the currency than Judi Tembak suggests. Many analysts believe that this has a lot to do with the political situation in Indonesia at the time and the fact that the currency was introduced by the Indonesian communist party. The popularity of the currency in the post-war period also had a lot to do with this situation.

However Judi Tembak does not deny the fact that many of the former members of the PKI Party were involved in the currency before it came into being. She does not advocate or support the idea that the introduction of the currency has been motivated by political considerations. However there are many who believe that this has a lot to do with the emergence of the social entrepreneurship movement in Indonesia.

According to Judi Tembak, the social entrepreneurship movement is a reaction to the influence of both western societies and the authoritarian political structure in Indonesia. This has led to the development of the social entrepreneur who has an entrepreneurial and economic orientation towards matters related to the Baro currency. As such, many believe that this is the main reason behind the rise of the Baro currency in Indonesia.

Judi Tembak also contends that the current Baro value was introduced at a time when there was a need to control inflation and facilitate the government to manage the economic crises that they faced. However at the time the Baro was introduced, these crises were not felt in the way they are felt today.
